Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon for Asian American Literature

In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, we’ll be holding a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon for Asian American Literature! Presented by Kundiman, Asian American Writers’ Workshop, Wikimedia NYC, & PEN America, we invite you to join us at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop on Saturday, May 12th from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Our Edit-a-Thon will work on addressing the gaps and deficiencies across pages related to Asian American literature on Wikipedia. The goal is to bolster the presence of Asian American writers and literary organizations and make this information accessible to all.

Training will be provided by Wikimedia NYC, and no previous Wikipedia experience necessary. Please bring a laptop! Beer from Lagunitas will be available, courtesy of PEN America. RSVPs are appreciated!
