This week, we’re bringing you two poems by Marwa Helal. The first poem, “Ode to DJ Khaled,” is sprinkled with humor, but also contains an underlying idea of Palestinians’ right to return. The second poem, “Intimacy vs. Isolation: Number 13,” touches on migration and movement, all through the repetition of the phrase “blanquita.”
