AAWW TV: Process Talk I

Writers Jaswinder Bolina, Ching-In Chen, Bich Minh Nguyen and Timothy Yu reflect on their writing processes

By AAWW

On AAWW TV, our new YouTube channel, you can relive the magic of live events at our space in Chelsea, check out in-depth interviews with writers, and more. Every Thursday we’ll be sharing a new segment from AAWW TV on The Margins.

Whether you’re a recreational writer or a published author, a poet, novelist, playwright, or none of the above, everyone has a writing process. In the first of our Process Talk series, poet Jaswinder Bolina, writer and community organizer Ching-In Chen, author Timothy Yu, and novelist Bich Minh Nguyen share how their works materialized from ideas to published pieces. Bolina reads his poetry, Chen shows a visual presentation featuring their work, Nguyen reads from her novel Pioneer Girl, and Yu shares passages from his poetry collection 100 Chinese Silences.
