Senior Community Engagement Coordinator
Before joining AAWW in 2022, Sofia Koyama was the Digital Engagement Coordinator at the Asian American Journalists Association, where she helped organize two of AAJA’s annual conventions and launch the content vertical AAJA Defined. She studied journalism at Boston University and was formerly the photo editor of the independent, student-run paper The Daily Free Press. She currently lives in Brooklyn, enjoys seeing live music and loves cake.
