Poetry
Kazim Ali and Myung Mi Kim

Ali’s The Far Mosque, an elegant yet plainspoken debut, draws on mystical lyrical traditions. Kim’s Dura, a classic of experimental poetics, charts a public history of and her personal relationship with immigration and cultural severing. A panel discussion on Dura featuring Cathy Park Hong, Tan Lin and Warren Liu follows the reading.
