Aishvarya Arora is a poet and teaching artist from New York. In writing, their co-conspirators include activists like Leslie Feinberg, poets like Wanda Coleman, the natural landscapes of Ithaca and Queens, and the amoeba-like-way that language evolves in queer space. They have received support from Tupelo Press’s Merrill Family Fellowship, the Fulbright Program, and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, where they were a Poetry Coalition Fellow. Their work is featured in, or forthcoming from, Poetry Northwest, the Hopkins Review, Apogee, and others.
