Alycia Pirmohamed is a Canadian-born poet based in Scotland. In 2023, she won the Nan Shepherd Prize for her creative nonfiction debut, Shorelines, forthcoming with Canongate in 2026. She is also the author of the poetry collection Another Way to Split Water (YesYes Books) and currently teaches on the Master’s in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge.
