Amita Manghnani is associate director at the Asian/Pacific/American Institute at New York University, where she promotes and makes accessible the arts, archives, and scholarship in interdisciplinary, innovative forums. Previously, she held positions at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, the Feminist Press at CUNY, and International Coalition of Sites of Conscience, among other nonprofit organizations. She earned an M.A. in Public History and Archives from NYU, and a B.A. in American Studies from Brown University.
