Aria Pahari is a Nepali American poet born and raised in Virginia who received her MFA in poetry at the University of Arizona. Through her poems, she explores the concept of intimacy through registers of asexuality, femininity/the matrilineal, animals, sisterhood, and touch. She is at work on her first poetry collection.
