Christina Ng

Christina Ng is a Singaporean writer and translator based in Berlin. Working between English and Chinese, she has interpreted for film and theater productions, as well as written and translated essays and features on art, travel, and culture. Her Chinese-to-English literary translations include poetry and fiction by Singaporean poets Liang Wern Fook, Dan Ying, and Pan Shou, and have appeared in adda magazine, Pathlight, Contour: A Lyric Cartography of Singapore, and Words Without Borders. She was one of the translators-in-residence at the National Centre for Writing, UK, in 2024 and her English translation of Liang’s debut short story collection, The Joy of a Left Hand, was shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize 2024 translation category.
