Dominique Middlebrook is a Deaf African-Diasporan poet and entrepreneur. In high school she won a reward for being the best creative writer. Dominique’s poetry has also been lauded and featured by her graduate school, Gallaudet University. Dominique’s poetry centers on her deaf cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, feminism, healing, satire, empathy, mysticism and romance. She desires to heal, educate, and inspire others through her poetry and writing.
