Evan Wang 王潇 was the inaugural Youth Poet Laureate of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in POETRY, The Kenyon Review, The Journal, RHINO, and elsewhere, and was awarded the 2024 Fugue Poetry Prize, selected by Divya Victor. His work has been featured at and recognized by the White House, Button Poetry, NPR, the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, Philadelphia Contemporary, and Wawa Welcome America. He is working on a chapbook manuscript titled “Slow Burn.”
