Gary Devilles is a film critic and a cultural studies scholar based in Manila. He was educated in Australia and teaches at Ateneo de Manila University. He is editor of the book, Pasakalye: Isang Paglalayag sa Kasaysayan ng Panitikang Filipino and co-editor of the book, Kritikal na Espasyo ng Kulturang Popular. His new book, Sensing Manila, will be published by Ateneo de Manila University Press this year.
