Hilal Isler has published work in the LA Review of Books, the Paris Review, the Brooklyn Review online, the Believer, and McSweeney’s. Her most recent short story, written for the Baltimore Review, has been nominated for the 2022 Best Small Fictions prize. Hilal, who lives in the Twin Cities, has been supported by MacDowell, Yaddo, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
