Lucy Yu is the founder & owner of Yu and Me books. She is a former chemical engineer turned bookstore owner and has finally made her dream come true of creating a bookstore that showcases diverse voices with a focus on immigrant stories. Her favorite books to read are those that make her cry while sipping coffee, and her favorite food is Dan Dan noodles. Her dog, Odie, is her official mascot of her store and Yu and Me Book’s official employee of the month (every month). She lives in Astoria, Queens, NY with her boyfriend and best friend, Matt.
