Lydia Abedeen

Lydia Abedeen is a poet from Orlando, Florida. She is a second-year poet in the Northwestern Litowitz MFA+MA Creative Writing Graduate Program. She studies cults, ghost stories, haunted objects, and the depictions of motherhood and monstrosity in literature and film. A 2021 Tin House Scholar and Bucknell Seminar for Undergraduate Poets Fellow, her writing has been supported by the University of Iowa and the Watering Hole.
