Norman Erikson Pasaribu is a Toba Batak poet writing in Indonesian and English. In 2017, they were awarded the Sastrawan Muda Award from Southeast Asia Literary Council. Their books have gained global recognition, including from the Queen Mary Small Press Fiction Prize (winner), International Booker Prize (nominated), and National Book Critics Circle Award (finalist). They were a 2025 fellow of Berliner Künstlerprogramm from DAAD. They currently live in Berlin.
