Preeti Vangani is an Indian poet & writer living in the Bay Area. She is the author of Mother Tongue Apologize (RLFPA Editions), winner of RL India Poetry Prize. Her work has appeared in Gulf Coast, Threepenny Review, Cortland Review, and Hobart, among other places. She is the poetry editor for Glass and currently teaches at the University of San Francisco, also where she got her MFA. A Tin House alumna, she has received fellowships and support from UCross, PEN America, Djerassi, and the Napa Valley Writers Conference.
