Rahima Nasa is an Open City Fellow. She has written about the immigrant communities in New York City for the Manhattan Times , The Bronx Free Press and Voices of New York. She was a 2015 fellow at the Knight Foundation-funded CUNY Graduate School of Journalism summer diversity fellowship. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in journalism at the CUNY journalism school.
