Romalyn Ante is a Filipino-born West Midland based writer. She migrated to the UK when she was 16 years old. She is co-founding editor of harana poetry and a poetry editor at Ambit magazine. She is the first East Asian to win the international prizes Poetry London (2018) judged by Kwame Dawes and Manchester Poetry Prize (2017). Her debut collection is Antiemetic for Homesickness (Chatto Poetry). She currently works full time as a specialist nurse practitioner.
