Sesshu Foster has taught composition and literature for thirty-five years. His recent books include City of the Future (Kaya Press, 2018), winner of the CLMP Firecracker Award and ELADATL: A History of the East Los Angeles Dirigible Air Transport Lines (City Lights Publishers, forthcoming 2021), a novel co-written with artist Arturo E. Romo.
