Z. Yasmin Waheed is a writer, editor, and poet of Turkish and Pakistani heritage based in South Florida. She is O, Miami’s 2024–2025 Poetry Coalition Fellow via the Academy of American Poets and strives to explore material culture, memory, and the places the historical and contemporary intersect through her work, which can be found in places like Burnaway, Aôthen Magazine, The Baltimore Review, and a forthcoming anthology of Florida writers.
