MWC NYC: Emergency Community Townhall

The results are in and Donald Trump is the President of the United States. Everything is somehow both radically different and the same that it’s always been. As we pick ourselves up and brace ourselves for what’s to come, we are reminded again that strength lies within our communities and catharsis can begin by being around each other. Join the Muslim Writer’s Collective and the Asian American Writers’ Workshop as we host a Community Town Hall to react, reflect, heal, and move forward. We will be discussing our thoughts and our feelings about what a Trump administration means for our communities and we will talk about what steps we can take to ensure that those same communities rights are not trampled and that our voices are not left unheard.

Thank you to the Asian American Writers Workshop for partnering with us on this event.

Doors will open at 6pm, and the program will begin at 6:30 PM SHARP, and will wrap up around 8:30 PM. Tickets are free but registration is required.
