Akané Kominami (小南茜, she/her/hers), LICSW, believes in the resilience of the LGBTQ+ communities of color, and the power of being in the present moment and learning about self as essential tools for healing and self-actualization. Born and raised in Japan, Akané identifies as a queer transnational multicultural multilingual cisgender woman of color, an advocate for the wellbeing of trans and queer people of color, a therapist, and a clinical social worker.
