Michael Beltran is an independent journalist from the Philippines. He has published stories with a bunch of news outlets in and around the Asia-Pacific region. He also volunteers with Pinoy Weekly. In 2023 he released his first book, The Singing Detainee and the Librarian with One Book: Essays on Exile.
