Wendy Lee is the author of the novels The Art of Confidence (2016), Across a Green Ocean (2015), and Happy Family (Booklist Top Ten First Novels of 2008). She spent more than a decade in the publishing industry, and is currently a ghostwriter and freelance book editor. The second-generation daughter of immigrants from China, Lee lives with her family in Queens, New York City.
