Alissa Tu is an MFA student in Creative Writing at the University of California San Diego. Her work can be found in Bitter Melon Poetry’s “Stay at Home Diary” and The Wave’s “Quaranzine.” If she’s not being a student in San Diego, she’s hunting ghosts and making pour overs in Olympia, Washington.

Aarthi Haig is a South Asian American artist based in Fairfax, VA (just outside Washington, DC). She grew up in rural Pennsylvania and has lived in Paris, New York City, and Philadelphia. In addition to her budding art career, Aarthi is a civil rights lawyer and proud single mother who relishes making art with her two children (ages 8 and 5).
