Ahmad Almallah grew up in Palestine in the city of Bethlehem, and now lives and teaches creative writing as an artist-in-residence at University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He writes in Arabic and English, and is author of two poetry collections in English, Bitter English and Border Wisdom.
