Lea Haddad is the granddaughter of Palestinian refugees from 1948. Her parents moved from Beirut, Lebanon to California months before she was born. She is a third year law student at the University of Chicago and a graduate of UCLA. Lea is a human rights advocate and enjoys writing in her spare time.
