Aria Aber is a writer currently based in Oakland, where she serves as the Li Shen Visiting Writer at Mills College. Her poems are forthcoming or have appeared in The New Yorker, Poetry Magazine, Kenyon Review, The Poetry Review and elsewhere. She is the author of Hard Damage (University of Nebraska Press, 2019) which won the Prairie Schooner Book Prize in Poetry and a 2020 Whiting Award.
