Connie Ni Chiu

Connie Ni Chiu is, first and always, the (grand)daughter of refugees from Laos, currently living in Los Angeles though left her heart in New York City and the Bay Area. She is a lifelong practitioner of racial justice and healing work, and co-founder of the and/now collective. Being a writer and poet is the other life she dreams of living, and fulfils this as the Managing Editor of Administration for The Offing Magazine. Her writing has appeared in Entropy and The ReWrite’s Namjai Anthology. And her hobbies include second-hand bookstores, public transportation, music that moves, and ice cream for breakfast.
