Hajer Almsoleh

Hajer Almsoleh is a Palestinian poet, writer, mother, grandmother, lover, fighter, pacifist, annihilist, and a traveler forever lost on familiar and foreign roads and in between lines. Hajer’s poems and short stories have been published in both English and Arabic, and in 2013, Hajer’s short story “Gone” won Abu Dhabi Book Fair and The National’s short story competition. She cherishes her family, memories, life, and Palestinians. She also cherishes Palestinian olive trees, olive oil, figs, and villages, those which were razored down and those which remain an eyesore in the eyes of the occupiers.
