Grace Shuyi Liew is a Malaysian lesbian poet and fiction writer currently living in Brooklyn, New York. Her awards include a MacDowell residency, Tin House residency, Center for Fiction Emerging Fellowship, the Stella Kupferberg Memorial Short Story Prize, and more. Her work appears in Kenyon Review, Electric Lit, Wigleaf, Black Warrior Review, Best of the Net, and elsewhere. She is the author of the poetry collection Careen (Noemi Press, 2019), which has been named Electric Literature’s “14 Unmissable Poetry Books of 2019.”
