Rajiv Mohabir, the poet and winner of the Restless Books’ New Immigrant Writing Prize on supporting DRUM and the work of Guyanese poet Martin Carter, joined us for AAWW at Home.

On Thursday, June 18 join us for the launch of Kay Ulanday Barrett’s second poetry collection, More Than Organs (Sibling Rivalry Press)
This Saturday, Esmé Weijun Wang, Tejal Rao, T Kira Madden, and R.O. Kwon will talk about their experiences in publishing for a pay-what-you-like fundraiser for the Okra Project, The Bail Project, and Black Lives Matter.

The Asian American Writers’ Workshop is devoted to creating, publishing, developing and disseminating creative writing by Asian Americans, and to providing an alternative literary arts space at the intersection of migration, race, and social justice.
